are already humming the tune. Christmas
cheer abounds at the Branch; the trees have been
beautifully decorated once again by our own in-house
Santaís helper Lynn White.
The banquet halls are buzzing with Christmas
parties and celebrations and everyone is primed and ready
for the Santa Claus parade on Saturday, December 7th,
starting and ending at our corner of Tamarac and Queen.
We always have refreshments ready for the band
members and colour party after the parade, so come in and
The Kidsí Christmas Party is on Sunday, December
15th from 2:00 to 4:00 and I understand Santa
is expected to arrive around 3:00 but there will be plenty
to do while we are waiting; face painting, balloon art and
lots more. Santa
will also be visiting Edgewater and Grandview to deliver
Christmas Gifts on December 11th and 18th
Colour Party is piped in by Charlie King, followed by
Santa, with Marie Glaves at the piano for her 12th
year leading our Wednesday singers in Christmas Carols.
Mark your calendars and come and join us.
We always need help handing out gifts and the extra
voices would be welcomed.
The Veteransí Affairs representative will be at
the Branch on Tuesday, December 17th at 9:30
a.m. so if you have any issues or concerns, please come in
and meet her directly, or call our Veteransí Affairs
Service Officer, Murray Roberts at 905-701-1638 and he
will assist you. Her
next visit will be in February.
Our Turkey Raffle is Friday, December 20th
starting around 8:00 pm, and if you have already won a
turkey elsewhere, we give out gift certificates so your
whole Christmas dinner can be covered.
It is always a great evening, bring your friends
and have some fun.

are $15 for advance sales or $20 at the door.
There will be a DJ, champagne and a late lunch.
